Paid Preorder Terms and Conditions
By placing a preorder with Far & Wide Games & Hobbies LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Payment
Full payment, including applicable sales tax and shipping charges, is collected when the preorder is placed. Your payment reserves the quantity shown in your order but does not guarantee fulfillment if the publisher, manufacturer, or distributor cancels the product or reduces our allocation.
Release Dates and Delays
All release, arrival, and fulfillment dates are estimates supplied by the publisher, manufacturer, or distributor and are subject to change. Far & Wide Games & Hobbies LLC does not control production schedules, distribution delays, shipping delays, product changes, or allocation decisions.
If fulfillment is delayed beyond the originally estimated period, we will notify affected customers when reasonably possible. Customers may choose to keep their preorder active or cancel it for a full refund.
Allocations and Product Changes
Preorders are fulfilled in the order in which completed payments are received, subject to product availability and distributor allocation.
Publishers and manufacturers may change product artwork, covers, packaging, contents, specifications, or release dates before release. Minor product or packaging changes do not automatically cancel a preorder. If a substantial change is announced, customers may request cancellation and a full refund before fulfillment.
Customer Cancellations
A customer may cancel an unfulfilled preorder at any time before it has shipped or been picked up. Approved cancellations will receive a full refund, including applicable sales tax, to the original payment method.
Refunds are submitted promptly but may take several business days to appear, depending on the customer’s bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Once an order has shipped or the product has been picked up, it is no longer considered a preorder cancellation and is instead subject to our standard return policy.
Canceled Products or Unavailable Inventory
If a product is canceled, our allocation is reduced, or Far & Wide Games & Hobbies LLC is otherwise unable to fulfill your preorder, we will notify you and issue a full refund for the unfulfilled item, including applicable sales tax and shipping charges paid specifically for that item.
Far & Wide Games & Hobbies LLC is not responsible for indirect losses, missed opportunities, price changes, or the cost of purchasing the product from another seller. Our responsibility for an unfulfilled preorder is limited to refunding the amount paid for that item.
Shipping and Combined Orders
Preorders containing products with different release dates may be held until every item in the order is available. If you would like available products shipped separately, additional shipping charges may apply.
Shipping estimates begin when the product becomes available to Far & Wide Games & Hobbies LLC, not when the preorder is placed. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Please contact us as soon as possible if your address changes before shipment.
Local Pickup
Customers selecting local pickup will be notified when their order is ready. Preorders should not be picked up until a ready-for-pickup notification has been received.
If an order remains unclaimed, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer using the information provided with the order. Unclaimed merchandise will continue to be held or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable law and our posted pickup policy.
Refund Method
Refunds are ordinarily returned to the original payment method. If the original payment method is unavailable or the payment provider no longer permits a direct refund, Far & Wide Games & Hobbies LLC will contact the customer to arrange an appropriate alternative.
Agreement
Placing a preorder confirms that you have reviewed and accepted these terms. These terms apply in addition to Far & Wide Games & Hobbies LLC’s general store, shipping, privacy, and return policies. If another posted policy conflicts with these preorder terms, these preorder terms will control for the preorder transaction to the extent permitted by law.
Far & Wide Games & Hobbies LLC reserves the right to update these terms for future purchases. Any changes will not materially reduce the cancellation or refund rights applicable to an existing paid preorder.
